·Assisting the development and co-ordination of regular internal communication across the group through a variety of channels.
·Contributing to the development and implementation of specific communication campaigns.
·Assisting in co-ordinating communications and responses to customer contacts including complaints, Freedom of Information, Environmental Information Requests and other public facing processes.
·Supporting the planning, development and attendance of key events.
·Taking responsibility for the delivery of small scale projects.
·Monitoring and providing statistical analysis of the performance of Corserv’s communication channels, campaigns and messages.
·Undertaking the delivery of filming and editing based on briefs provided by services and colleagues to produce visual communications to a high standard.
·Undertaking any other tasks deemed applicable and commensurate with the role as requested by the group head of Communications and Marketing or senior colleagues.
·Providing regular social media content and responses to enquiries by liaising with senior colleagues and relevant service personnel.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
·Media/Communications related degree.
·Strong communication and engagement skills (written, verbal, listening).
·Ability to produce creative/innovative solutions to new problems.
·Ability to use initiative and work without supervision and demonstrate attention to detail.
·Good interpersonal and presentation skills.
·Proven track record of using imagery and visual aids in communication.
·Demonstrable ability in Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint) or equivalent systems.
·Understanding of engagement and marketing techniques.
·Strong working knowledge of social media platforms and how to use them.
