Brief Description
Supporting Team Managers, the Senior Practitioner will provide effective management and guidence to the team, carrying out co-ordinating manager roles for safeguarding cases, managing day to day operational service delivery and developing and monitoring the competancy of front line staff.

Recognised relevant professional qualification or equivalent. E.g.social work, nursing, but not excluding exceptional record of relevant achievement allied with range of practice experience and qualifications.

Main Responsibilities:

Managing the delivery of high quality assessments and reviews and the commissioning of services for older people and people with Physical Disability, including operational oversight and co-ordination of Safeguarding Adults Processes.

Deliver best practice multi-agency arrangements, including integrated working with key partners. Contribute to the effective performance management of key service outcomes and quality measures to inform team practice and performance.

Be operationally accountable for staff teams and ensure appropriate supervision, appraisal and development opportunities are available to team members.
