We are very proud to have recently been awarded CEEQUAL’s “Excellent” Whole Team Award, for the design and build of the Longrock Coastal Protection Project.
The project was made up of three elements to improve resilience to flooding and coastal erosion along the coastal front of Mount's Bay. It included a huge 350 metres of new rock armour tied in to the existing sea defences, where all materials were kept on site and re-used within the scheme.
The project also included considerable enhancement to wildlife habitats nearby at Marazion Marsh, where impact to water environment and ecology was minimised by using an amphibious excavator to create the open water channels.
Well done to the site team and all those involved in the project. Quite an achievement!
🚨 Potential Scam Warning 🚨
It has come to our attention that flyers are being posted to elderly residents advising about free heating and insulations they are allowed stating they are Cornwall Council accredited installer. Please alert friends and family to this latest scam to stop people from becoming victims.
Ghy6 wasn't the only one of our large (~30m) antennas to get in on the Mars observing act on Wednesday 14th October. Across the site, and around the corner a bit stands Ghy3. It too has had major work done to it - but THAT'S another story!
